Climate Action & Environmental Sustainability

Overview

Under its Climate Action & Environmental Sustainability pillar, the EmPOvia47 Foundation mobilizes youth across Kenya’s 47 counties to lead the fight against climate change through awareness, conservation, and innovation. We champion community-driven environmental initiatives that promote tree planting, waste management, renewable energy adoption, and climate-smart agriculture, empowering young people to become active stewards of their environment. By integrating green skills, sustainable livelihoods, and eco-entrepreneurship into our programs, we aim to build a generation that not only understands the urgency of the climate crisis but also drives practical solutions for a resilient, green, and sustainable Kenya.
